Alan Greenspan is lauded as a modern day financial guru. And even though he is no longer the fed chairman he routines grants interviews about the current economy and what ails us. So why doesn't anyone have the guts to ask him why didn't he prevent this from happening. Most people think the President holds the strings to the economy. The fed chairman is most responsible for the economy as a whole. So why did he leave the rates so low that encouraged this rampage? And why isn't he discredited since he presided over not one but two bubbles that burst causing undue hardships on the american people. We shouldn't forget about the tech bubble of 2000 while experiencing the real estate bubble. He can talk about irrational exuberance but there must be sober leadership that acts and helps our economy. Everyone wants become rich overnight, a responsible fed chairman would act and keep the economy on track.
So lets stop hearing from Greenspan, he has no legs to stand on. He caused this nightmare.
